Columbus, OH · Information TechnologyWe are looking for a COBOL Programmer (Intermediate) to join our client's team in support of their federal DoD customer.
This is a direct hire position with our client with a salary range of up to $105k/year.

Responsibilities Include:
- Design, develop, test, and maintain COBOL and JCL programs in a mainframe environment.
- Participate in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Conduct peer code reviews, perform root cause analysis, and resolve integration issues.
- Prepare project updates and maintain technical documentation.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and participate in team meetings
- US Citizenship is required. Must be able to obtain federal clearance.
- High school diploma or GED.
- 10+ years of experience with mainframe applications.
- Strong skills in COBOL, JCL, testing, debugging, version control, and documentation.
- This is a full-time onsite position located in Columbus, OH. Applicants must reside within a commutable distance in order to work onsite full-time
- Experience with root cause analysis, technical writing, stakeholder collaboration, and project tracking
